Tennis Teaching Professionals

Our working vacation for the teaching tennis professional is a truly unique vacation opportunity. The tennis program is offered at all Superclubs Resorts and Sunset Resorts Jamaica. You’ll find these adult and family all–inclusive resorts on the beautiful island of Jamaica, Nassau, Curacao and Dominican Republic as well as 2 resorts in the exciting and unexplored country of Brazil.

Teaching requirement is a maximum of 2-3 hours per day, Monday - Saturday. Schedules at resorts may vary according to hotel management and the resident tennis pro.

Visiting pro may bring 1 guest to adult resorts and 1 guest and 2 children to family resorts. Visiting pro and companion(s) are responsible for airfare costs. R/T hotel transfers are complimentary at all Superclubs resorts except Brazil and Dominican Republic. Sunset Resorts do not provide complimentary transfers but will arrange it for you. Visiting pros are booked Sunday to Sunday. Restaurants, bars, buffets, grills, all liquor, recreational sports and all entertainment services included. Starfish resorts charge a surcharge at some restaurants. (Some resorts offer spa services, laundry and dry-cleaning for a fee). Gratuities are covered... no tipping allowed.

The weekly fee is $375.00 (made payable to Sportsinternational) for the Grand Lido Resorts and $350.00 for all other Superclubs Resorts. The Sunset Resorts in Jamaica (3 locations) are $325.00. An additional payment of $50.00 per week is required (payable to Sportsinternational) and will be allocated to the resorts Sports Equipment Program. In addition, the visiting professional is required to bring a case of new tennis balls to the resident pro for each week reserved. (Visiting pro will be charged $100.00 by the resort if balls are not delivered.)

The Sportsinternational Visiting Tennis Pro must be a qualified teaching professional capable of providing the highest quality of service along with a positive, upbeat and fun attitude. Each visiting pros performance will be evaluated by the resort. Superclubs Resorts reserve the right to move the Visiting Pro and guest to another resort in the event the resort is oversold during the week the pro is reserved. This will be avoided if possible. In this event the resort will provide transfers between properties. Sunset Resorts guarantee a room. Room accommodations will be assigned upon check in according to room category available. We do not request upgrades.

College and High School Coaches, Certified Tennis Professionals and capable tennis teachers are welcome. Teaching credentials/resume will be required for program approval.
